Les Joynes (PhD, MBA) is an ICF-credentialed Leadership Coach at Columbia Business School working with leaders that are shaping our futures in finance, management consulting, technology, healthcare and diplomacy. A research scholar with Teachers College since 2016 he is trained in advanced curriculum design and education leadership.

As a specialist in international organizations and education. As a management consultant and coach he has served Fortune 100 clients including 3M, GM, Du Pont, General Electric, Dow Chemical, Bayer and Credit Lyonnais in Paris. Asa professionally credentialed coach he is trained in protocols and engages the client in creative strategies for focusing on target outcomes. He brings sector experience in education, finance, marketing and advertising, technology, transportation, entrepreneurship, healthcare and the creative industries.

Born in Santa Barbara California, Les is recipient of the Fulbright Professional and Academic Excellence Award and is introducing coaching in education programs in South Asia and Australia. Since 2014 he leads and produces US Public Diplomacy projects in Mongolia, China and India.

Educated in the US, EU and Japan, Les has an M.Sc Management from Boston University and Vrije Universiteit Brussels; MBA from California State University; MA from University of London; MA from Japan; PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK; and Post-Doctorate from University of São Paulo. with over 10000 hours of graduate training in creativity and management, Les brings clients unique creative approaches to coaching and mentorship to professionals.
