Dr. Les Joynes is CEO of Joynes & Company in New York, GoldAward Mentor at University of London and an Executive and Leadership Coach at Columbia Business School partnering with leaders that are shaping the futures of Technology, Healthcare, Entrepreneurship, Education and Diplomacy.

Recipient of the Fulbright Professional and Academic Excellence Award (2022), Dr. Les Joynes has mentored and coached clients from thirty countries in technology, consulting, entrepreneurship, design, and healthcare. As a Fulbright Senior Scholar, he founded the Naga Youth Mentorship Program in 2022, India’s first tribal mentorship program.

Specialized in global management during his M.Sc at Boston University and Vrije Universiteit Brussels, and MBA at California State University, he has served global Fortune 500 clients including 3M, Du Pont de Nemours, General Electric, Dow Chemical, Exxon and Bayer.

A GoldAward Mentor at the University of London, Les is a certified coach from New York University and is professionally credentialed with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a Group Coach trained at ICF accredited GCHQ in New York. A Public Diplomacy specialist, Les has served as a Fulbright-Nehru Senior Scholar and is a Visiting Research Scholar on the future of coaching at Columbia University, In addition to his M.Sc and MBA, he has an MA from University of London, Masters in Fine Art from Musashino Art University, Japan, PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK and Post-Doctorate from University of São Paulo, Brazil.

A Columbia University Research Scholar, he examines the Futures of Coaching and Mentorship in Multinational Organizations.

A native of Santa Barbara, California, Les has shared the last thirty-five years between the US, Europe and Asia. When not mentoring and coaching, he is a professionally trained sculptor and creates museum exhibitions worldwide. He is founder of KinoForm Films in New York and is a Fellow of the Explorers Club in New York.

Les initiated the Naga Youth Mentoring Program to expand coaching and mentoring to young people from the thirteen tribal communities in Nagaland to develop skills and pathways in leadership, career development, entrepreneurship and balanced mental and physical health.
