Les Joynes (PhD, MBA) is an NYU-certified coach based in New York and Asia. Credentialed by the International Coaching Federation he is a Leadership Coach at Columbia Business School in New York working with future leaders in finance, management consulting, technology, healthcare and diplomacy - connecting them thoughtfully to their unique purpose, goals and together we identify ways forward.

Dr. Joynes is also a GoldAward® Mentor at University of London and leads a new coaching initiative at University of Melbourne. In India he is a Fellow of the Highland Institute and founded their Youth Mentoring Program working with 14-24 year old age groups.

As a management consultant and coach he has served Fortune 100 clients including 3M, GM, Du Pont, General Electric, Dow Chemical, Bayer and Credit Lyonnais in Paris. As a professionally credentialed coach he is trained in protocols and engages the client in creative strategies for focusing on target outcomes. He brings sector experience in education, finance, marketing and advertising, technology, transportation, entrepreneurship, healthcare and the creative industries.

Les is recipient of the Fulbright Professional and Academic Excellence Award. Since 2014, he leads and produces US Public Diplomacy projects in Mongolia, China and India. Les has an M.Sc Management from Boston University and Vrije Universiteit Brussels; MBA from California State University; MA from University of London; was Japan MeXT Scholar during his MA from Musashino Art University, Japan; PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK; and Post-Doctorate from University of São Paulo. with over 10,000 hours of graduate training in creativity and management, Les brings clients unique creative approaches to coaching and mentorship to young professionals. A Columbia University Research Scholar, he examines the Futures of Coaching and Mentorship in Multinational Organizations.

A native of Santa Barbara, California, Les has shared the last thirty-five years between the US, Europe and Asia. When not mentoring and coaching, he is a professionally trained sculptor and creates museum exhibitions worldwide. He is founder of KinoForm Films in New York and is a Fellow of the Explorers Club in New York.
