Hi, my name is Les. I am an Almaworks Start-Up Lab Entrepreneurship Coach supporting founders in strategy. I also serve as a Leadership Coach at Columbia Business School. I have served executives and leaders in Fortune 100 organizations including General Motors, 3M, GE, Du Pont, Dow, Bayer, HSBC, McKinsey and the US Diplomatic Corps.

Today, mentoring and coaching are recognized as essential tools for success. I work with creative entrepreneurs in ideating strategies and building flourishing careers in Entrepreneurship, Management Consulting, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Healthcare, Technology, Diplomacy, Government, Education, Consumer Marketing, Law and the Creative Industries. Also a trained management consultant, I share my skillsets in business and creativity in coaching individuals and groups in developing creative strategies. I am also a GoldAward Program entrepreneurship mentor at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Trained in professional coaching at New York University, I am ICF® credentialed by the International Coaching Federation. I received my training in management in the US and Europe with my M.Sc. in Management from Boston University and the Vrije Universiteit Brussels and MBA at California State Polytechnic University. I completed my training in arts in the UK and Japan with my BA (Honours) in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, MA Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London and was Japan Ministry of Education (Monbusho) Scholar completing my masters in fine art at Musashino Art University. I received my PhD from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK and Post-Doctorate from the University of São Paulo, Brazil.

I am recipient of the Fulbright Academic and Professional Excellence Award for India and I have initiated coaching at Yale, University of Melbourne and at the Highland Institute in India. I lecture at Peking University, Renmin University, University of the Arts London and recently lead Fulbright workshops at Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, Visva-Bharati University in India, University of Visual and Performing Arts Colombo and University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka.

I am a Columbia University research scholar on leadership and coaching in multinational organizations. When not coaching serve as a board member for a children’s charity in New York and I am a member of Columbia Toastmasters.
