Career Coaching in the Future of Work

A member of the Columbia community since 2009, Specialized in supporting clients in the Future of Work (FoW) Les has coached MBAs, EMBAs, PhDs in building their careers and vision and leads workshops on cross-border collaboration and on coaching-mindset in management. As a Columbia Entrepreneurship and MBA coach, Les has worked with future leaders from 20+ countries. He is also trained in group coaching and active in the International Coaching Federation. He brings experience from multiple industries including finance, fintech, sustainability, healthcare, and consulting, government, education and the creative industries and has worked with teams and leaders from 3M, Du Pont, GE, GM, Dow and Bayer, HSBC, Morgan, Apple, US Department of State and MCKinsey.

Trained in coaching at New York University, Les holds an M.Sc in international management from Boston University and MBA at California State University. Les also holds an MA from University of London and MA from Musashino Art University in Japan. Examining new models for collaboration across cultures, he received his PhD from the Faculty of Art, Environment and Technology, Leeds Metropolitan University, UK and Post-Doctorate from the University of São Paulo, Brazil., Les is recipient of the Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Award and initiated India’s first career coaching to serve underserved communities in India’s northeast. At Columbia University, he is a research scholar on the future of coaching in higher education.
